Privacy policy
Kattekonge. Last updated 1 October 2026.
Kattekonge collects no data. There are no accounts, no online play, no chat, no advertising, no analytics and no purchases. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your device
- Game progress: scores, crowns, opened halls, costumes and your daily streak, stored in the app's own database on your device.
- Your child's name and costume, if you enter them, stored the same way.
- A costume photo, if you choose to add one. It is saved inside the app's private folder and is only shown on your child's player in the game.
- Settings, such as music, sound effects, haptics and reminders.
Deleting the app removes all of this. You can also clear it at any time from Settings → Start over.
Camera and photos
The camera is used only when you tap "Take a photo" to make a costume photo of your child. Choosing an existing photo uses the system photo picker, which gives the app only the single picture you select. Photos are never uploaded or shared unless you choose to share a crown card yourself through the share sheet.
Notifications
If you switch on a reminder, the app asks permission and then schedules local notifications on your device: a daily reminder for today's barrel and a reminder on the morning of Fastelavn. These are created on the device and never touch a server.
Children
Kattekonge is a family game that parents play with or for their children. Because the app collects nothing, it does not collect personal information from children either.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party SDKs, trackers or advertising frameworks.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published here and noted in the app's "What's New" for that update.
